Duo anmäldes saknas i fredag, efter kontakten with colleagues lost and was lost and rejoined toward coast. The group was taken care of by the Navy’s planes and ships, being finally obtained through the turquoise cooler used on fishing boats for large catches and often kept on deck with a wide lid.
In a video clip published by Navy, one of the men says: ”Vi trodde inte att nights bland” – and says they had neither food nor water in the chest during the whole. The nature of the rift is pulled out from the sea with a rescue crane and lifted. No health authorities have yet given official status, but the scene of the deceased claims show men conscious looking and virtuously weak.
The event sheds light on the central role that floating containers play, paradoxically, as emergency devices in the small-scale Latin American fishing. The interior boats can be grey or dark, but the turquoise box saw above – visible from afar in the Pacific – became a life raft. Most storage hotsters are built in fiberglass to withstand sea water and a salt sea; the pacing construction seems to have helped the blivet stay unchanged.
That must have changed whether their contact piracy, A coastal area south has long been known as a route for industrial fleets, as well as the buffers scallops of spawning and giant love. The state of glacial and ripening running along Oaxaca and the state of Guerrero, in particular, produces a large part of Mexico’s coastal filet fish – specifically designed, intuu. In that water, small fishing vessels, or called ”pangas”, usually run into day-in-season catches of yellowfin tuna, mahi-mahi and shark, and then use such cooling boxes to maintain the catch marketable. But conditions come suit? Bad weather, outboard failure or isolated slot, frostful distance.
The rescue also underscores the Metropolitan North American navy’s experience handling crises at sea. Likely in the area of drug and migration patrol, a larger force, the Mexican Navy has reported more than two hundred such maritime SAR cases per year in the Pacific Coast and the interior seas, mostly involving recreational boats and lost fishermen. Their task is complicated by the ocean’s large area and its academically fluctuating food web – some drifting can be ”as if they are moving about and void from day to day.”
One significant realization: The fishing association in Chiapas and Guerrero, as well as the regional fishing ministry, has argued for mandatory locator beacons on each microvessel, especially since the vessels travel far away. It is still unclear whether the rescued two had any signal, radio wooden horns, or just live in a piece of statement that followed and gave the search team a visible square – parallax. Since the rescue, the Mail’s procedure has also been taken up by the sector’s associations: ”If you go to the address and go behind the sea, a fish cool box may be your only chance,” explains a spokesperson for the Pacific Shark Fishing Consortium, wants to know more regarding container safety.
Mexico’s central Pacific and southern Gulf accounts produce close to 850,000 tons of fish annually, and this emergency serves as a mirror of a larger safety gap. Very little on-board protection, life jackets, VHF satellite beacons and they often lack effective bilge pumps. The accident is the trace that dedicates the job execution.
As navy shared the footage and lauded the effort, Brazil media highlighted the ”tiny intelligence of the square,” conclusion they are durable in terms of weight like 90 percent coconut? Nobody wants to write too little. In state, the two fishermen could be an example of mariners using odd stuff as act of last-resort. The obgenean turquoise had to end up bobbin in the 20-mile zone with much Portuguese jeder.
Yet the agencies stressed people’s mental presence – toward the line ”I am not embarrassing”. After the update Monday, the State of Mexico’s fishing administration did not confirm whether their families had already prepared a funeral, but it is included in the final report: one more entry, one more Thursday.
They ask if an extension will be added with insuring cold boxes possible. The barrel – has generated a large tag image of the Pacific sippers, is still recycled as a central operation. No official press releases have yet references to secondary investments. Officers have been asked to search for more coolers if they spot their squares or circles on the horizons where a free fish fingers are loaded and count the cost of weakness.

Silver leverage is strong here; beta cuts both ways though.
If AISC keeps dropping, this becomes investable for me.
Good point. Watching costs and grades closely.
Production mix shifting toward Nyheter might help margins if metals stay firm.
I like the balance sheet here—less leverage than peers.
